Access to the Exhibition area, SAT and MTE sessions

The Danish Ethical Rules for Promotion of Medicinal Products towards Healthcare Professionals (2011), the Danish Medicines Act,  the Danish Executive Order no. 1153 of 22 October 2014 on advertising of medicinal products and the Danish Executive Order no. 1244 of 12 December 2005 on the supply of medicinal product samples are based on the European Union Directive 2001/83/EC (as amended).

According to Section 66(1) of the Danish Medicines Act, advertising to the general public shall not be allowed of medicinal products that are available only on prescription.

Advertising to Healthcare Professionals of authorized prescription-only medicinal products is permitted.

The Danish executive order on advertising of medicinal products defines Healthcare Professionals asdoctors, dentists, veterinarians, pharmacists, nurses, veterinarian nurses, pharmaconomists, midwifes, medical laboratory technicians (bioanalytikere), clinical dietitians, radiographers, social and health care assistants as well as students within these professions.

To ensure that the 24th EADV Congress complies with local and national regulations, access to the prescription product Exhibition area, Satellite Symposia and Meet-the-Expert Sessions presenting development, research or other issues related to prescription medicine will be restricted to Healthcare Professionals and Industry participants only.

The full EADV Scientific Programme, Posters and Satellite Symposia as well as Meet-the-Expert Sessions organized by companies producing over-the-counter (OTC) products will be open to all participants.

Access to the session rooms

Seating is regulated on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend you go to the session room well in advance of the session. Due to safety regulations, the organisers will close the access to the session if all seats are occupied. Delegates are not permitted to stand in the aisles of the session rooms.

IMPORTANT: Children under the age of 18 are not authorised inside the Congress centre (exhibition hall, sessions, etc.)

Certificate of Attendance

All registered participants will be able to print their Certificate of Attendance at the Congress Venue starting from Saturday, 10 October, 2015, or simply download it from the Congress website from Wednesday, 7 October, 2015.

CME accreditation

You are encouraged to pass by the CME-CPD booth located near the Speaker Preview room if you have any questions. CME certificates may be downloaded directly from the Congress website for processing with the national authority in your country of practice.

Congress Policy

As applied to previous EADV symposia, all EADV members will receive special registration rates, provided their membership fees have been paid. The 24th Congress will offer fellowships with reduced registration fees and special scholarships for dermatologists facing financial difficulties.

Please join us in the main Auditorium A1 on Wednesday 7 October, 2015, from 17:45 for the EADV Networking Symposium.

Where can I eat at the convention center?

Lunches and coffee breaks are NOT included in the registration fees. Sandwiches and snacks can be purchased within the Congress venue during the opening hours in various catering areas.

Is the transportation pass is included in the registration fee?

No. The transportation pass is not included in the registration fee.

Scientific Programme

Sessions of different formats will cover the important fields in dermatology and venereology. Subjects will be treated with different approaches and from different perspectives.

The programme will include plenary lectures, educational classes (focused towards registrars/residents/trainees), review and update sessions (directed at specialist dermato-venereologists), expert council and discussions (for expert groups) what’s new, spotlights, clinical cases from around Europe, free communications of selected abstracts and much more.

The first subspeciality society meeting will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday October 7, 2015, and registration opens at 8 a.m. on Wednesday October 7, 2015.
